3.Transit Options

With Vaughan Metropolitan Centre just a seven minute drive away, residents of Abeja District will have unparalleled access to the TTC. This station, having recently been completed as an extension of the TTC Line 1 Yonge-University line, gives buyers immediate subway connection downtown, as well as eventual connection to Line 2 going East-West. Vaughan Metropolitan Centre Station is a hub for travel across the GTA, with an easy 40 minute ride to Union Station in the heart of Toronto.

Commuters can also take advantage of the GO Transit Barrie line, which has stops at Rutherford Station and Maple Station. The line runs from Barrie in the north to Union station.

Transportation within the city and to its neighbouring municipalities within the York Region is simple and affordable, with the aptly named York Region Transit (YRT) providing unparalleled bus service and rapid transit with over 20 routes. A simple ten minute drive will bring residents to Finch Station, the northernmost station on one end of the Line 1 Yonge-University Line.  From there, it’s a simple 40 minute ride to Union Station in the heart of Toronto. 

Residents will also enjoy being close to the VIVA line, with a wide-array of connections all over York Region.

The entirety of southern Ontario is just a short drive away from Vaughan.
